Derek's First Birthday!!

Ya tiene un año. Es increible pensarlo, todavia nos parece como que nacio ayer. Es increible como un bebe puede aprender tantas cosas en tan solo un año. Aca esta con mama, papa, y su hermana Kira. Caitlin llego mas tarde a la fiesta.
He is one year old. It's unbelievable to think about it. It seems like he was born yesterday to us. It's amazing how a baby can learn so many things in only one year. Here's a picture with Mommy, Daddy and big sis Kira. Caitlin couldn't make it to the party until later.

Derek Jonathan Hammond

Derek nació el 3 de octubre de 2006. Él acaba de cumplir un año . Él es la cosa más maravillosa que nos ha sucedido. Él trae alegría y felicidad a nuestras vidas. Amamos el ser los padres de este pequeño individuo. Derek comenzó a caminar a los 10 meses, un poco temprano para nosotros. Tuvimos que poner de lado los muebles, trabar las puertas, mover todo para arriba fuera de su alcance, y trabar todos los modulares para que el no se lastime con nada. A pesar de nuestras medidas él todavía encuentra cosas para hacer lio (él adora jugar con los zapatos!!). Ha sido una locura pero el lo vale todo!! Aquí están algunas fotos que sacamos desde que él nació. Él ha cambiado tanto. Está creciendo rápidamente y estamos intentando disfrutar de cada minuto de su desarrollo.
Derek was born on October 3rd of 2006. He just turned one. He's the most wonderful thing that has happened to us. He brings joy and happiness to our lives. We love being the parents of this little guy.
Derek started walking at 10 months a little early for us. We had to put furniture away, get gates, move everything up, out of his reach, lock all the cabinets and baby-proof our home. In spite of our measures he still finds things to get into (he loves playing with shoes!!). It has been crazy, but all worth it. Here are some pictures we took since he was born. He has changed so much. He's growing quickly and we're trying to enjoy every minute of his development.
